On the instructions of Excise Commissioner Shyam Lal Dhavde and Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh, continuous action is being taken by the Excise staff of the district. It is noteworthy that on 05 January, the joint excise team of the district conducted a surprise check of FL. 3 Shamrock Global Pvt. Ltd. Hotel Bar and 12.300 bulk liters of non-duty paid liquor of Haryana state was confiscated and a departmental case was registered. Similarly, on 12 January, a joint excise team of the divisional flying squad and Raipur district conducted a surprise check of FL. 3 Milano Food and Company VIP Road Raipur and a total of 3.300 bulk liters of non-duty paid liquor was confiscated and a departmental case was registered.

Due to the above irregularities being of serious nature, the Collector (Excise) has suspended the licenses of both the said FL. 3 Hotel Bar for 07 days under the Chhattisgarh Excise Act. The order for which was issued on 24 January. According to this, from 25 to 31 January, FL 3 Semrock Global Pvt. Ltd. Hotel War and FL 3 Milano Food and Company VIP Road are being sealed. Earlier, due to parceling from the bar, the hotel bar license of FL 3 Grand Neelam VIP Road Raipur, FL 3 Metro Bar, FL 3 Yogi Bar and FL 3 Shalu Bar has been suspended and sealed for 02 days from 24 to 25 January.
