Crores of devotees reached Prayagraj to take a holy dip in the ongoing Maha Kumbh 2025. Meanwhile, a shocking case came to light, where a person took VIP treatment in the hospital by claiming himself to be the ADM (Additional District Magistrate) of Korba district. Investigation revealed that there is no ADM named "Vikram Singh Jaiswal" in Korba.

Details of the incident
According to the information, a person from Korba, who is a lawyer by profession, had come to visit Prayagraj Maha Kumbh with his family. There he suddenly suffered a heart attack. During treatment in the hospital, he introduced himself as ADM Vikram Singh Jaiswal of Korba district and got special medical facilities.

When the news of this incident was published in the newspapers, the Korba district administration started investigating the matter. Collector Ajit Vasant clarified that there is no ADM named "Vikram Singh Jaiswal" posted in Korba. Along with this, the Advocate Association also denied that this person is a registered lawyer.

Administration engaged in investigation
The administration has taken this matter seriously and has started investigation. The collector said that such false claims not only play with the administrative process but also lead to misuse of resources.

State of health services in Maha Kumbh
On the first day of Maha Kumbh, seven devotees suffered heart attack, who were admitted to the emergency hospital of the fair. Chief Medical Superintendent of Central Hospital Manoj Kaushik said that so far 42 heart attack patients have reached the fair hospital. Two of these patients were referred, while the rest were treated in the fair hospital itself and were later discharged.

Questions raised by fraud
This case of getting VIP treatment by posing as a fake ADM highlights the lapse and lack of vigilance of the administrative system. After the incident, the administration is considering taking strict steps to prevent such incidents.
