Decision soon among MVA allies on seat sharing for Lok Sabha elections: Sharad Pawar

New Delhi: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) president Sharad Pawar on Wednesday said the seat sharing among the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance partners for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections will be finalized soon.

In Maharashtra, Pawar-led NCP, Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena and Congress are included in the MVA. These three parties are also part of the opposition alliance ‘India’. Party spokesperson Mahesh Tapase said Pawar held a meeting here to review the party's election preparations in seven Lok Sabha constituencies of Maharashtra - Kolhapur, Hatkanangle, Raver, Baramati, Shirur, Satara and Madha. He said Pawar highlighted the "failures" of the BJP-led government and encouraged party workers to openly expose these shortcomings to the public.
