Raipur: BJP National Vice President and MP Dr. Saroj Pandey, in a press conference at the BJP office located at Ekatm Complex on Monday, fiercely attacked the Congress and the state government, accusing them of creating a new political drama in Chhattisgarh in the name of Chief Minister Housing Scheme. Dr. Pandey said that Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel did not provide housing to more than 16 lakh people of Chhattisgarh and betrayed the poor people of the state. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is again coming to spread lies in the conference going to be held in the name of this scheme. Today, in the name of this scheme, Rahul Gandhi has come to distribute lies to the people of Chhattisgarh, because the truth is what today's Deputy Chief Minister and the then Panchayat Minister T.S. Singhdev had written a letter resigning from his post and blamed Chief Minister Baghel.

BJP National Vice President cited the letter of Singhdev, in which Singhdev had written to Chief Minister Baghel on July 16, 2022 that 'under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, houses were to be built and given to the homeless people of the state. For which I had discussed with you several times and requested for allocation of funds. But funds could not be made available in this scheme. As a result, houses could not be built for about 8 lakh people of the state. Apart from this, about Rs 10 thousand crores would have been helpful in the economy of the state in building 8 lakh houses. In our public manifesto, the right to rural housing is prominently mentioned under the 36 goals of Chhattisgarh. It is noteworthy that during the tenure of the present government in the state, not a single house could be built for the homeless people and the progress of the scheme remained slow. I am sad that the homeless people of the state could not get the benefit of this scheme. Therefore, I resign from my post. This is not a BJP's but a Congress government minister's clear allegation on his own government. Has Rahul Gandhi read this letter? And, if you have not read it then first you should apologize to the people of Chhattisgarh and answer your minister's question.

He said that the way BJP started fighting for the rights of the people on the streets and got success, then the Chief Minister and his entire government started getting worried about this issue. After that, Chief Minister Baghel has served a new lie and announced Chief Minister Housing Scheme and his leader who started distributing hate items in the shop of love, who understands very little of Indian politics and participates in fancy dress competitions, has been arrested here. But he called and got this plan started. This is extremely unfortunate and a betrayal of the people of the state. The 16 lakh people who were to be given the Prime Minister's residence, were not given the house by the Congress government of the state only because according to Chief Minister Baghel, if the word Prime Minister is written in it, then the Central Government should pay the entire amount for it. Due to this petty political thinking of the Chief Minister, five members of the family who were in the waiting list for the Prime Minister's residence in Kanker of the state died after the kutcha house collapsed. Chief Minister Baghel is guilty of this. On March 15, when the public reached the Assembly complex to demand accommodation from the Congress Chief Minister, instead of discussing, the Chief Minister sent the police forward and hurled bombs at them, in which a large number of people were injured. Rahul Gandhi and Chief Minister Baghel have not apologized to those victims till date.

While discussing the corruption and scams of the state government, MP Pandey said that BJP fought a street battle on this issue also with its vocal voice. Out of all the scams committed by the state government, if the Congress government of the state had not committed the liquor scam, then the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana would have got houses with that amount only. Describing the Chief Minister Housing Scheme as an illusion for the people of the state, he asked Chief Minister Baghel that under this scheme, the people whom he has said to provide houses at present, then when will the rest of the people be given houses? The state is on the verge of elections and the time for implementation of the code of conduct is near, so when will we fulfill this promise? And, when the promise is not fulfilled, this scheme will be exposed to a new scam. He wanted to know where the money of the state's Congress government, which is running scams on scams, is going? Chhattisgarh is being used like ATM of Congress.

The previous state government of BJP had built 7.50 lakh Prime Minister's residences during its tenure. Chief Minister Baghel's lie was also exposed by Deputy Chief Minister and former Panchayat Minister Singhdev in the meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Raigarh and said that the Central Government does not discriminate. Now the Congress leadership should decide whether Baghel or Singhdev is lying? State media co-in-charge Anurag Aggarwal, state spokesperson duo Kedarnath Gupta and Deepak Mhaske were present during the press conference.
