Raipur, Under the governance of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, a resident of Dallirajhara in Balod district, Shri Ramvilas Pathak, has been given a new lease on life. In the month of June this year, Shri Pathak suffered a sudden heart attack. He was promptly admitted to a nearby hospital, where doctors referred him to AIIMS Raipur for better treatment. After thorough medical evaluation at AIIMS, the doctors recommended heart surgery, estimating the cost to be around Rs 5 lakh.
Shri Ramvilas Pathak's son, Shri Rajneesh Kumar, shared that they live in a joint family with limited financial means. Upon learning that the surgery would cost around Rs 5 lakh, the family had lost hope as they were unable to bear the expenses. Shri Rajneesh Kumar mentioned that in this difficult situation, they learned about Mukhyamantri Vishesh Swasthya Sahayta Yojana, which brought a glimmer of hope for his father's surgery. They approached the doctors at AIIMS Raipur to prepare a proposal outlining the medical expenses and submitted an application for financial aid at the residence of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai.
Acting swiftly on their request, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai approved a total sum of Rs 5.29 lakh for the heart surgery of Shri Ramvilas Pathak. Following this, Shri Pathak successfully underwent heart surgery. He has now returned home and is leading a normal, happy life once again.
The entire family extends heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai. It is through his governance that their joint family, which had lost all hope, has been blessed with the recovery of a husband, father, and grandfather, Shri Ramvilas Pathak, who has been given a new life.
