Raipur Friday's proceedings during the budget session of the assembly were tumultuous. During the question hour in the proceedings of the house, on one hand, not the opposition but the members of the ruling party tried to corner the ministers of the government. Former minister and Kurud MLA Ajay Chandrakar raised the issue of scam in the purchase of equipment in the health department, to which Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiwal put the answer on the table of the house.
Ajay Chandrakar asked that the Director Health had demanded for the purchase of equipment, which was purchased by CGMAC. Will you please tell how much material was demanded and how much amount was made available for the purchase? Within how many days were the equipment and goods supplied?
Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiwal was answering the questions of former minister Ajay Chandrakar when suddenly Ajay Chandrakar stood up again and repeated his question. But Ajay Chandrakar did not seem satisfied with the answer given by Shyam Bihari Jaiwal and there was a heated argument between the two members in the House.
