Kuno    Another happy news has come from Kuno National Park for wildlife lovers. Here female cheetah Nirva has given birth to five healthy cubs. With this, the total number of cheetahs in the park has now increased to 29. This achievement is being considered a major success of the cheetah rehabilitation plan in India. The

successful breeding of cheetahs brought from African countries in the natural environment in Kuno National Park is the result of the continuous hard work of the forest department and experts. Recently, two cheetahs were shifted from the park to Gandhisagar Sanctuary in Mandsaur, due to which the number of cheetahs in Kuno had decreased to 24. Now with the birth of five little cubs of Nirva, this figure has increased again.

Condition of cubs:
The park management said that all the newborn cubs are healthy and they are being specially monitored. The medical team is constantly taking care of them.

Chief Minister's message:
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav shared this happiness on social media and wrote, "Welcome new guests to Kuno National Park. Nirva giving birth to five cubs is a symbol of the success of the cheetah project and India's rich biodiversity." He also praised the wildlife conservation efforts led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and congratulated the Kuno team and experts.

This process of return of cheetahs to India is also becoming an example at the global level.
