Rajnandgaon Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai Government is making continuous efforts to empower the citizens of the state and to give the right of equality to all sections. In this episode, 46 couples tied the knot under the Chief Minister Kanya Vivaah Yojana organized at Balaji Lawn in Motipur of Rajnandgaon city. On this occasion, newly elected Mayor Madhusudan Yadav, Collector Sanjay Agarwal blessed the newly married couples and gave hearty congratulations and best wishes for a happy married life. The marriage was conducted in an atmosphere of joy and happiness as per traditions and rituals.
Under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivaah Yojana, 16 couples from Rajnandgaon city and 30 couples from Rajnandgaon rural area got married. In which 45 couples were married according to Hindu tradition and one couple was married according to Buddhist tradition. Under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivaah Yojana, there is a provision of Rs. 50 thousand per marriage. In which an amount of Rs. 35 thousand was transferred to the bride's account and makeup material and gifts worth Rs. 7 thousand were given to the bride and groom. During this, under the Mor Sangwari Yojana, all the newly married couples were given marriage registration certificates. All the couples praised this scheme and thanked the government for this quick facility. On this occasion, newly elected councilors, public representatives, social workers, relatives of newly married couples, officers-employees, common citizens were present. All the guests motivated to take advantage of the facilities being provided through the Mor Sangwari Yojana.
