Ujjain A massive fire suddenly broke out on Sunday at the Shankh Dwar of the world famous Baba Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, causing panic there. Flames and smoke were visible from about 1 kilometer away. As soon as the fire was reported, three fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and extinguished the fire.
According to preliminary information, the fire started from the battery placed above the control room of the temple premises. There is no news of any casualty in the incident. Senior officials of the Mahakal Temple Committee have reached the spot and are taking stock of the situation. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the District Collector and SP also reached the spot.
When this incident happened in Mahakal temple on Monday, there was a lot of crowd in the temple. Due to Monday, there was a lot of crowd in the temple. Fortunately, there is no news of any casualty in this fire incident. According to Mahakal Temple Administrator Pratham Kaushik, the Pollution Control Board's Air Quality Management System is installed on the roof. The battery of this system caught fire due to some reason. Only the batteries were damaged in the accident.
