30 lakh rupees and increasing pressure behind the murder
According to the police, the deceased Kishore Paikra had appointed lawyer Ankit Upadhyay in his legal battle regarding property. During this time, the lawyer sold the deceased's house for Rs 30 lakh and spent that money on his personal work. When the deceased started demanding money continuously, the accused and his wife hatched a conspiracy to kill him.
The accused were trying to flee to Delhi, were arrested before the flight
After the murder, both the accused were trying to flee from Raipur to Delhi. Police, with accurate information and swift action, arrested them as soon as the flight landed at Delhi airport. Two other accused Suryakant Yadav and Vinay Yadav, who assisted in the murder, have also been arrested.
Planning and execution of the murder
The deceased was called there by telling lies after taking a room on rent.
He was killed by strangulation and stabbing.
The body was locked in a suitcase and cement was poured on it and then stuffed in a tin box and thrown at a deserted place.
Clothes and weapons were thrown away to destroy evidence.

With the help of forensic team, CCTV analysis, cyber tracing and informer system, 5 teams of Raipur Police solved this complex case in 48 hours. The operation was conducted under the leadership of Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Lal Ummed Singh and IG Amresh Mishra. A cash reward has been announced for the team for the success.
