Surajpur Girls studying in government schools of Chhattisgarh are being taught self-defense techniques. Rani Laxmi Bai program has also been started. Under the guidance of District Education Officer Bharti Verma, girls are being taught karate in all the middle, high and higher secondary schools of the district. Girls are being taught self-defense techniques to protect themselves and how to defend themselves. This program is being run in schools. In the same sequence, the girl students of Madhyamik Shala Patrapali are being given training in karate and taekwondo under the Rani Laxmi Bai program.
For your information, let us tell you that various steps are being taken by the government and administration to teach self-defense to girls. In which various kinds of skills and self-defense training are being given. The aim of this campaign is to prevent incidents like molestation and kidnapping. Three months of training is going on in schools.
Instructor of this training Brind Kumar Prajapati is teaching the girls about Karate and Taekwondo as well as how to use things like key chain, dupatta, dupatta, muffler, bag, pen, pencil, notebook for self-defense. Principal B.R. Hitkar, Mahendra Patel, Anita Singh, Krishnakumar Yadav, Yogesh Sahu, Raghunath Jaiswal and Sarita Singh were present in the training.
