The Indian Under-19 cricket team has been announced for the England tour. Ayush Mhatre has been given the command of the team, while Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who recently surprised everyone by scoring a century in the IPL, has been included in the team. BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia announced the team through a press release on Thursday.

The team will play a warm-up match, five ODIs and two multi-day matches in England from June 24 to July 23.

Vaibhav's speed and influence
14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi is currently the most talked about young player in the country. By scoring a century in 35 balls against Gujarat Titans in the IPL, he became the youngest player to score a century in the history of the league. Earlier, he had also scored a century in the youth test against Australia Under-19.

Ayush's captaincy experience
17-year-old Ayush Mhatre, who has been made the captain, has scored 962 runs in first-class cricket and has also played for Chennai Super Kings. He is one of the most reliable young openers in the country at the moment.

Enan returns to bowling
Kerala leg-spinner Mohammed Enan, who took 16 wickets in the youth Test against Australia last year, has returned to the team. Along with him, Punjab's Anmoljit Singh has also been selected as an off-spinner.
