Saw Railway Station, Vidhansabha and Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram for the first time

Raipur   Tuesday was a historic day for the youth from remote villages of Sukma district. 119 youth from villages like Silger, Poorvarti, Elmagunda, Lakhapal, Shalatong, Sakler, Chhotekedwal, Bagdeguda and Bedre, included in the Niyyad Nellnar scheme under Swami Vivekananda Yuva Protsahan Yojana, came out of their village for the first time and reached the capital. During this educational tour, the youth visited the railway station, Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly and Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram.

During their arrival in the capital, the youth visited the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly and watched the proceedings of the House by sitting in the visitors' gallery, due to which they looked very excited. On this occasion, they met Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh and Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma. Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, while talking to the youth, said that if the youth want, they can spread the light of peace and development in their village.

Deputy Chief Minister Sharma inquired from the youth about the condition of their village. He assured the youth that the state government is committed to providing essential facilities like paved roads, electricity, pure drinking water, ration, medical and housing in their villages. He appealed to the youth to take maximum advantage of government schemes and said that under the guidance of Chief Minister Sai, we all together will make Chhattisgarh a developed and prosperous state.

Deputy Chief Minister Sharma discussed a special strategy for the economic development of villages under the Niyada Nellnar scheme. He said that new security camps have been set up near these villages to strengthen security in the Maoist-affected areas and to ensure that the benefits of the government's welfare schemes reach everyone.

It is noteworthy that many villagers who came out of their villages and reached the capital for the first time after 75 years of independence, saw the progress of the state closely and expressed their desire to contribute to the development of their villages in future. The state government under the leadership of the Chief Minister is continuously ensuring that basic facilities reach the remote areas in the Bastar region of Chhattisgarh and the people there join the mainstream of development. The state government is working to rapidly provide basic facilities in the Maoist-affected areas of the state.

The benefits of various schemes of the state government are now being extended to these remote villages, so that the youth can be connected to the mainstream of education, health, employment and development. Swami Vivekananda Yuva Protsahan Yojana and Niyyad Nella Naar Yojana being run by the government are an important step in this direction, which is helping in connecting the rural youth with the development process of the state. This initiative has not only brought a new ray of hope for the youth of these villages, but it also gives a glimpse of the bright future of Chhattisgarh.
