Neha Malik's mother had gone to the gurudwara
According to a Hindustan Times report, Neha Malik's mother Manju Malik had filed a theft complaint against the house help working in her house on Sunday. In her complaint, she said that when her house help came to work on Friday, Manju left the house in her care and went to the Gurudwara to pay obeisance. After this, her house help did not come to work on Saturday. In such a situation, she tried to call her several times, but she did not pick up the phone.
Manju used to keep jewellery in an open drawer in her bedroom
When Manju's house help did not pick up the phone despite calling several times, she went and checked the cupboard and found that all her jewellery was missing. She told the police that she searched the entire house for the jewellery, but when she could not find it, she suspected that her house help had stolen the jewellery and it had disappeared somewhere. Manju told that she used to keep her jewellery in a bag in a wooden drawer in her bedroom. She had also kept gold in the presence of her maid on several occasions.
