On the occasion of the "Silver Jubilee Year" of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Dr. Raman Singh, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai and Leader of the Opposition Dr. Charan Das Mahant today inaugurated the "Smritiyaan" photographs exhibition in the Legislative Assembly premises.

After the inauguration of the exhibition, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Dr. Raman Singh, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, Leader of the Opposition Dr. Charandas Mahant, including ministers and MLAs visited the photo exhibition and appreciated it. Assembly Secretary Shri Dinesh Sharma was also present on this occasion.

The photo exhibition displays photographs of important occasions of the historical journey of 25 years from the establishment of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly to the present. In this exhibition of photographs, photographs of the arrival of special guests in various programs in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly and other important occasions from the beginning of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly till the present have been displayed. This exhibition will be held in the Vidhan Sabha premises throughout the year to commemorate the Silver Jubilee Year. The “model” of the new Vidhan Sabha building under construction in Nava Raipur has also been displayed at the exhibition site.
