Arvind Kejriwal lost from New Delhi seat

Results of 70 assembly seats of Delhi are still coming in. Election result of New Delhi assembly seat has come. Arvind Kejriwal of Aam Aadmi Party has lost. Parvesh Verma of BJP has registered a big victory. Sandeep Dixit of Congress has also lost. Arvind Kejriwal came to power in Delhi by defeating the late former Chief Minister Sheila Dixit, who represented this seat for three consecutive times, in the 2013 assembly elections. He represented this assembly seat for three consecutive times. At present, this seat is with Kejriwal. 

More than 60 percent voting took place in Delhi

Out of the total 1.56 crore voters in Delhi's 70 seats, 60.54% voted. Giving information, officials associated with the Chief Electoral Officer's office of Delhi said that 5 thousand employees have been deployed. These include counting supervisors, counting assistants, micro observers, statistical staff and other supporting staff etc. Apart from this, the slips of five VVPAT machines in each assembly constituency will be counted randomly. So that any kind of malpractice can be assessed.
