Guna    Congress has expelled former MP and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh's brother Laxman Singh from the party for six years. After his expulsion, he has made several allegations against the Congress. In a press conference held at a private hotel in Guna on Thursday, Laxman Singh broke his silence on his expulsion from the Congress. The former MP said, I was asked by the Congress to write that Rahul Gandhi will become the Prime Minister. When I did not do so, I was expelled. Only those can stay in the Congress who say that Rahul Gandhi will become the Prime Minister. I cannot do this.

Lakshman Singh said, Abdullah family is responsible for terrorism in Kashmir, but the statements of Congress at the time of terrorist incidents seem anti-national. I had questioned the statements and working style of many top Congress leaders after the Pahalgam attack. Only the army budget can be discussed in Parliament, not the strategy. Questioning the army by Congress leaders is an anti-national act.

He said that how Mallikarjun Kharge became the national president and who is running the Congress party is not hidden from anyone. On his political future, Laxman Singh said that he will not join any party for now. He will travel around the state and discuss with his workers. Serious consideration is also going on about the formation of a new party, in which the decision will be taken in consultation with the workers. There will be no system like high command. Workers are no longer heard in Congress.

Laxman Singh thanked BJP for praising him for his recent statements. He also raised questions on the state government. He said, “BJP has been in power in Madhya Pradesh for 20 years. Now is the time for change. Bureaucracy has become unbridled in Madhya Pradesh and if they sit in any tehsil for just two hours, they will know the ground reality. The menace of drugs has increased in the state. Due to this, crimes are increasing. Drugs have a role behind the recent incidents in Indore and drug trade is going on behind the police stations. If this is not stopped, the future of society and youth will be in danger.
