Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde's film 'Deva' has finally hit the theatres after a long wait.
Advance booking of the film was also going on for the last two days. While on the opening day on Friday, a good number of viewers were seen in the morning and afternoon shows.
However, though it may have a slow start in terms of earnings on the first day, it may gain benefits in the future.
This is because like Shahid's previous films, this one too is based on word-of-mouth. The good thing is that the audience coming out after watching the film are also praising it.
Deva is an action film. In this, Shahid Kapoor is playing the role of a police officer who is full of anger. He is also a bit crazy.
This genre has always attracted the audience on the silver screen. Especially in the last few years, action films have received a lot of applause in the theatres. On an average, 15-20% of the seats were occupied in the morning and afternoon shows of Shahid's film. In such a situation, this raises hope.
