Tired of his wife's harassment in Agra, UP, Manav Sharma, posted as a recruitment manager in Tata Consultancy Services, committed suicide. Before committing suicide, Manav made a video in which he said, 'Please think of men, the poor are very lonely...'. After this, he hanged himself. This video is going viral on social media.

 Manav Sharma, a resident of Defense Colony, Sadar, was working as a recruitment manager in TCS Company, Mumbai. His father Narendra Sharma is retired from the Air Force and Manav was his only son. Manav got married a year ago on 30 January 2024. It is alleged that his wife started harassing him since the marriage, he took his wife with him to Mumbai.

 
In the case filed in Sadar police station, Manav Sharma's father Narendra Sharma has alleged that his son had taken his daughter-in-law with him to Mumbai. The daughter-in-law used to harass him, threatened to commit suicide due to which the whole family would get trapped. It is alleged that the daughter-in-law used to talk to her boyfriend and wanted to live with him. On 23 February, Manav came to Agra from Mumbai with his wife, from here he went to Barhan to leave her. In Barhan, his in-laws harassed him.

Pain expressed in a 6.57 minute video
On the morning of 24 February, Manav hanged himself from the fan in his room and committed suicide. Manav Sharma made a 6.57 minute video before dying. With a noose around his neck and tears in his eyes, Manav expressed the pain he had received from his wife, which he had been facing since marriage. Manav first mentioned The Law Need to Protect Man. Appealing to the system, he said, please someone should talk about men, the poor ones are very lonely. While crying, he said that the youth need to be protected by the law, otherwise there will be no one left on whom you can put the blame.

He further says that 'Papa sorry, Mummy sorry, Akku sorry…everything will be fine as soon as I go, let me go. I am imagining how one dies. I have tried to commit suicide before as well. After this, Manav showed his severed wrist.

At the end of the video, Manav said that 'okay it's fine, please out, it doesn't matter, your law and order…your law and order. There is no problem if we go, do not touch my parents at all. The video ends with these words.
