Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), the manufacturer of light combat aircraft Tejas, on Tuesday assured that it will soon start supplying the aircraft to the Indian Air Force and the technical problems have been resolved. This information has come to light amid reports of Air Force Chief AP Singh expressing concern in this regard. HAL Chairman and Managing Director DK Sunil said, "The delay is not only due to the slowdown in the industry.
He told reporters at the Aero India 2025 event, "There were some technical problems, which have been resolved. The Air Force Chief's concern is justified." According to Sunil, meetings have been held at various levels and the central public sector undertaking HAL will supply the aircraft soon. Sunil's reaction comes amid reports of Air Force Chief Air Marshal AP Singh expressing concern over the delay in the supply of Tejas to the Indian Air Force in an alleged video.
